An alumna of Fallbrook High School and Menlo College, Rachel Tipton puts people first by aligning their desires with the realities of the constantly changing vicissitudes of the collegiate environment.
While still an undergraduate at Menlo College, Rachel worked in the Admissions and Advising offices helping students navigate their individual educational and career paths.
Upon graduation, Rachel took over leadership of the college’s advising program. Rachel assiduously worked as an adviser and liaison to the Admissions department for 17+ years and guided thousands of students through the pipeline from high school through undergrad studies, graduate studies and entering into a fulfilling career.
Rachel spearheaded numerous conferences and attended many faculty senates where she was able to liaise and successfully help domestic and international students to recruit them to the college of their choice while managing minutiae such as transfer credit evaluations and cross-check evaluations.
An advocate for students and parents alike, Rachel listens to her clients, surveys and maps their wants/desires and aligns these wants with the constantly changing realities and prerequisites for admissions programs. She aligns wants and expectations by critically analyzing the student’s academic record, financial landscape and many ancillary considerations.
